Who we are
Expertspost ("we", "us") is an independent how-to publication written by Daniel Reyes, covering home and living, consumer tech, and productivity. You can reach us at hello@expertspost.com. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, why, and what choices you have.
What we collect
We keep data collection deliberately minimal:
- Analytics. We use analytics to understand which articles are read. This is aggregate traffic data — pages, referrers, rough region, device type — and is not used to identify you personally.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store the email address you give us, and nothing else, until you unsubscribe.
- Contact. If you email us or use a form, we keep the message so we can reply.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies help us count visits. Advertising partners (see below) may also set cookies. You can control cookies through your browser; our cookie policy explains the categories in more detail.

This site is supported in part by advertising. We use third-party advertising companies, including Google, to serve ads when you visit. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Third parties
A few service providers process data on our behalf — our hosting provider, our analytics provider, our email/newsletter provider, and our advertising partners. They only receive what they need to do their job.

This site is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe at any time. Email hello@expertspost.com and we will help.
Data retention
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept while relevant and then deleted. Analytics data is aggregate and retained in summary form.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date below. Material changes will be noted on the site.
